VESTIGE
The VESTIGE project was a self-financed, independent project I began in 2009 and pitched to the LEGO company in 2016. The idea was to create and inspire a new branding campaign centered around the “legacy” of the LEGO brand. While the target audience was adult-oriented, its appeal to children, both young and old, was always the ultimate goal.
Pushing beyond the limits of just another “toy company commercial” while striving for artistry and cinematic spectacle in it’s execution.

The MUSIC | SOUND of VESTIGE
The original score for VESTIGE was composed by the acclaimed experimental electronic musician, LORN.
Two variations of this score can be found on his album A/D linked below. An additional request asked of LORN was to infuse a subliminal “spectrogram” into the score, of none other than Ole Kirk Kristiansen, the creator of LEGO.
This was, in essence, our way of sprinkling a bit of the creator’s soul into the mix. You can find out more about this in the behind-the-scenes documentary or see below to view/hear the raw spectrogram.
